Working in
collaboration with artists and writers, photographer and publisher Mike
Kilyon likes to be involved in projects which stretch boundaries and
offer fresh or unusual perspectives, and bring as yet unrepresented
voices to the public. See also his publishing website nakedeyepublishing.co.uk.

Working
with Sue Vickerman, Mike took photographs and submitted them to group
exhibitions under the name of 'Bel'. Bel is a character who features in
the fictional autobiographical trilogy of Suki the Life Model.

Some work was related to a created persona, Bel the photographer. This
originated from work with Sue Vickerman. Bel is a colleague of Suki the life model. Together
Suki and Bel developed a project, The Life Room. You can see the
results here. More of my work was influenced by a year in
Shanghai which led to the work displayed in the exhibitions in 2016.
You can see a little more of what I got up to in China on Bel's blog here and my blog here; also on the artMart site.
On my return from China I set up a publishing house, Naked Eye publishing. That has been my main
project since then. More information is on the website here.
